The Bonzi Launch Date is Just Around The Corner

If you have already begun configuring your new system, our hats off to you!

We are beginning to see organizational data updated (e.g. League and Club BOD info being updated, logos uploaded, etc..), and we are extremely pleased with the progress being made. Nonetheless, as a registrar, setting up a new system is a daunting task so we are providing a bit of help by way of a simple onboarding process that every registrar must participate in as part of their league or club setup.

The onboarding process will allow you to work one on one with a Bonzi Specialist in configuring your system to best accommodate how your organization operates as a league or club of registration. Click here to get started, then select the option that best suits your needs.

Just beyond the horizon, the data import from our previous system will be complete. We expect to see data available for use in Bonzi by February 10th. Once you have access to your data, you’ll be able to email all your parents, players and coaches and introduce them to your new system.

If you have not yet received an invitation to access Bonzi Association, or Bonzi Club and League, you should receive one shortly. If you have received such an email, but are having trouble logging in, make sure you visit our directory to access your league or club’s login page (otherwise known as your SAM, Sports Admin Management Login).

Recapping Recent Training Sessions

Thank you to everyone who attended our training sessions! We had a wonderful time seeing our beautiful state, and meeting all of you.

The feedback we received from those in attendance was extremely valuable, and most importantly the polls after each session that gauged how people felt about the new system confirmed that we are on the right track. It was a welcomed sight to see entire rooms agree that this new system is something they liked, and something that will work for their leagues and clubs.

The common feedback we received from registrars was that they were excited about the potential of the new system, and found the training very valuable. Registrars are looking forward to getting their user accounts in January of 2017 to officially kick off our launch in the new system, and work with real registration data.

We’ve learned many valuable lessons over the years, and this transition not only includes a system that meets the needs of our users, but also includes some important revisions to our policy on registration. All of those in attendance received a copy of our new policy on registration that was approved at the beginning of this month. The new policy is available on the Cal North website as well.

Our new policy was revised to make registration flexible for registrars, and to match the workflows in our new system. The result is a simplified registration process, making it easier to register players, assign players to teams, activate those teams, print passes and rosters, and reassign players to other teams. One additional new option is to also register your non-Cal North members in our system free of charge.

We highly encourage our registrars, as well as league and club administrators to read this  new policy. A thorough understanding of its contents will make a registrars’ life a happier one!
